Ingredients
- For Salad:
- 1 ½ lb. wheel-shaped macaroni (any pastas shape is fine), cooked and drained
- 8 oz. cheddar cheese, cubed
- 2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
- 2 oz. sliced pepperoni
- 1 green bell pepper chopped
- ½ onion diced
- ½ C sliced olives
- For Dressing:
- ¼ cup Olive Oil
- 1/8 cup red wine vinegar
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- 1 pinch of oregano
- 1 pinch of garlic powder
Instructions
- For adult prep only: For easy cubing and dicing by children, prep cheese and tomatoes for easier handling with safety utensils. Prepare pasta according to package directions.
- Cube cheese using pastry bench. Dice tomatoes for salad using safety scissors. Assemble salad in a large mixing bowl.
- Measure all ingredients for dressing and whisk together in a small bowl. Pour this over pasta mixture and toss.
