A Day Class for Homeschooled Chef’s Offered Thursdays,
Winter Session starts February 1, 2017
This is a hands-on cooking class that explores different cuisines around the world! Lil’ Chef School teaches children 5th grade- 12 grade the joy of cooking in a kid-friendly and safe environment. Budding chefs learn the basics of cooking while participating in the preparation of real recipes they get to taste at the end of each class. Students also learn safety, etiquette, knife skills, math and science! Students will be grouped together, according to age and skill to learn teamwork.
We will visit 16 different countries and explore different cultures and cuisines, herbs, spices, fresh fruits and vegetables and cooking techniques that create recipes in each country. The countries we will visit are as follows: United States, Middle East, Australia, Spain, Greece, Mexico, Japan, Brazil, Italy, France, Israel, Ireland, Poland, China, Belgium, and England. We will work on 2 recipes per class and all recipes are made from scratch with fresh herbs and spices. Cost: $25 per class.
