Summer Camp, 2020
Week 3: June 22-26 “Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen” 9 am-12 pm
Santa’s favorite comfort foods like North Pole Pizza, cinnamon deer buns, warm cookies, frozen cocoa, candy cane soup, reindeer snack bars, eggnog pancakes & more.
Week 3: June 22-26 “French Flair” 2-5 pm
Visit our favorite cafe in Paris and make homemade sauces from scratch daily along with crepes, beignets, freshly baked Baguettes, quiches & more.
Week 4: June 29-July 3 “Chopped Competition” 9 am-3 pm (ages 9+)
This camp is for the creative mind by adding SECRET ingredients to existing recipes under a Chef’s instruction. Each camper will cook together in small groups to make a masterpiece to be judged… on taste and presentation. This is a friendly competition ONLY!
Week 5: July 6-10 “Oodles of Noodles” 9 am-12 pm
Yummy camp for the pasta lover, recipes featuring Udon noodles, Chow Mein, Ramen & penne. Kids will learn to make Fettucine noodles from scratch along with a garlic herbed butter sauce.
Week 8: July 27-31 “State Fair” 9 am-12 pm(Tiny chefs, ages 4-6 only)
Take the ride with food on a stick with deep fried cookies, baked corn dogs n pretzels, waffles n funnel cakes with strawberry sauce, oven fried pickles, hand pies, state fair subs & caramel apple bites.
Week 8: July 27-31 “World Cuisines” 9 am-12 pm OR 2-5 pm (ages 7-up)
Learn how to make famous recipes from all over the world. We will visit 5 International regions and cook with regional herbs & spices from Asia, Pacific Islands, Mediterranean, Latin America & Europe.
Week 9: August 3-7 “Savory Baking” 9 am-12 pm
Learn how to make different types of dough from scratch like sourdough bread, biscuit, pizza and pate brisee doughs; how to work with puff pastry and phyllo doughs while baking up casseroles & soufflés.
Week 10: August 10-14 “Italian Bistro” 9 am-12 pm OR 2-5 pm
Learn to make Pasta from scratch, homemade Sauces, Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo, tasty Pizzas, and fabulous Cannoli cupcakes with a rich Ricotta filling & more!
Week 11: August 17-19 “Summer Camp Favs!” 9 am-12 pm Mon-Wed, Daily
Monday we will feature our favorite chocolate and baking recipes, followed by pasta favorite’s on Tuesday and finish up with famous French & Mrs. Claus’ recipes on Wednesday.
