Brown Butter Cookies

Ingredients

  • 13 tablespoons butter, sliced
  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    Coating
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp Cardamom

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Brown butter on stove in small sauce pan for 3-5 minutes.

In a bowl Cream butter and sugars together with a paddle attachment.

In a separate bowl whisk all dry ingredients and set aside.

Add eggs one at a time to butter mixture. Then add in vanilla.

Add dry ingredients to butter mixture until well combined.

Using portion scoop roll out balls and place in powdered sugar spice mixture. Then place on parchment line sheet tray.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
