Pizza Pie

Yield: Makes 12 servings

  • 2 ¼ cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 5 orange slice candy
  • 6-8 Swedish fish
  • 4 large white gumdrops
  • ½ cup vanilla frosting
  • Red and orange food coloring
  • 4 oz. white chocolate, shredded
  • ¼ cup chocolate raisins


1. Preheat oven 375 degrees. Spray a 12-inch pizza pan with cooking spray.

2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

3. Mix together butter and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Blend flour mixture into butter mixture.

4. Spread dough into pizza pan. Bake 18-20 minutes until golden brown.

5. To prepare the pizza toppings, cut orange slices thinly to resemble tomato slices. Cut the Swedish fish into slivers to resemble peppers. Dust the work surface with powdered sugar and roll out white gumdrops and cut in ring shapes with a cookie cutter to resemble onions.

6. Add food coloring to the icing until reaches a dark red/orange color.

7. To assemble the pizza, spread the icing on a warm cookie, sprinkle with biscuit cutter shredded white chocolate. Sprinkle with orange slices, Swedish fish strips, gumdrop rings, and chocolate covered raisins. Sprinkle the top with the remaining shredded white chocolate.

8. Return the pizza to the oven for 2 minutes and cool completely. Cut into wedges.


Equipment Needed: Measuring cups and spoons, 12-inch pizza pan, Mixing bowls, Knife, Whisk, Mixer, Biscuit cutters and Cooking spray.
