Apple Crumble Pie


  • 1 9 inch deep pie crust
  • 5C of Granny Smith apples peeled and chopped
  • 1/2C white sugar
  • 3/4tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3C sugar
  • 3/4C flour
  • 6T butter


Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Arrange apples in a pie shell and mix 1/2C sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the apples.

To make the topping: combine the remaining sugar, flour and butter and slice with a pastry mixture so it becomes crumbly then place on top of the apples and bake for 40 minutes.
